Bun
A fast tool for running JavaScript, popular with developers.
Bun is a modern runtime for JavaScript, the language most of the web is built in. It became popular by being dramatically faster than the standard tool, Node.js, and it shows up in AI news because AI coding agents and developer tools often adopt it.
You don’t need Bun to use AI. It’s simply a name worth recognising when our coding stories mention the tools developers build with.
