A security startup that sells AI-powered security tools and took part in Anthropic's bug bounty program.
Cathedral is a cybersecurity startup that builds AI tools to find weaknesses in software, selling mainly to government agencies and businesses. Its researchers use AI agents, programs that carry out many steps on their own, to probe systems for flaws.
It is in the news because its team reached some of Anthropic’s business systems while taking part in Anthropic’s bug bounty program. Both sides describe what happened differently, so details are still disputed.
