Cohere
A Canadian AI company that builds language models mainly for businesses and publishes its own security research.
Cohere is an AI company based in Toronto. Unlike the makers of famous chatbots, it sells its models mostly to companies and governments that want to run AI on their own terms, for example keeping data inside their own systems.
It also publishes research on how AI models behave and how safe they are. Because it sells competing models, its findings about rivals deserve a careful read, even when the evidence is shared openly.
