Decart
An Israeli startup whose software makes AI models run faster on existing chips.
Decart was founded in 2023 and does two things. It builds real-time world models, the kind of system that generates video or simulated environments on the fly for robotics and games. And it writes software that squeezes far more speed out of the chips a company already owns, with claims of models running up to eight times faster on the same hardware.
The second part is why it matters commercially. Running a model to answer questions, called inference, is now the biggest ongoing cost in AI. In August 2026, Anthropic was reported to be finalising an acquisition of Decart worth around 7 billion dollars, which would be its largest deal ever.
