Haiku
Anthropic's smallest and cheapest Claude model, built for fast, high-volume jobs.
Haiku is the small member of Anthropic’s Claude family, sitting below Sonnet and Opus. It is designed to be fast and cheap rather than the smartest in the room, which makes it a good fit for repetitive jobs such as sorting emails, pulling facts out of documents or acting as a helper inside a bigger system.
Think of it as the quick assistant you hand the routine work to, while the larger models handle the hard thinking. Companies care about it because when you run millions of requests, the price per request matters a lot.
