Higgsfield
An AI video startup aimed at marketers and social media teams, valued at 5.4 billion dollars in August 2026.
Higgsfield makes tools for generating and editing video with AI. Its market is not film studios but the much larger group of people who need a constant supply of short clips: social media teams, small agencies, e-commerce sellers and marketers. The pitch is less “replace a film crew” than “produce forty variants of an ad by Thursday”.
In August 2026 the company raised 400 million dollars at a 5.4 billion dollar valuation, with DST, Goldman Sachs, Liberty Global and Intel among the backers. That is more than four times its January mark. The number worth watching is not the valuation but the revenue: reports put its annualised run rate around 500 million dollars, up from roughly 200 million at the end of 2025, which suggests AI video has moved from demo to routine purchase.
