SensorFM
A foundation model for sensor data instead of text.
SensorFM applies the foundation-model idea behind ChatGPT to sensor readings: instead of learning from text, it learns from signals like movement, temperature or heart rate, so that one model can power many different devices and health applications without expensive hand-labelled data for each.
It is a good example of AI’s quieter frontier: less chatting, more understanding of the physical world.
