tl;dv, short for “too long; didn’t view”, sends a bot into your Google Meet, Zoom or Teams call, records it, and produces a transcript and summary afterwards. It is one of the larger tools in that category, with more than two million users, and is popular with sales teams who want their calls searchable.
The company became a cautionary tale in August 2026 when a researcher showed that any signed-in user could list every meeting record on the platform, including live calls. The underlying mistake was a missing tenant isolation rule, and the episode is a useful reminder that a tool holding your interviews and strategy calls deserves the same scrutiny as any other vendor.
