The company markets the service on throughput, advertising figures such as 85 percent faster takedowns and 44 percent more takedowns month over month.
Those are speed numbers rather than accuracy numbers, and that distinction is the whole debate around this category of tool. Copyright protects specific expression, not styles or genres, but a system trained to spot visual similarity does not naturally draw that line. Tracer.AI has been named in several disputed takedowns, most visibly against the open-source voxel platform Luanti and the indie game Allumeria, both accused of infringing Minecraft. The wider concern is structural: automated filing is cheap, while defending against a wrong notice costs the target time and money it may not have.
