Andreessen Horowitz
A large Silicon Valley venture capital firm, one of the biggest funders of AI startups.
Andreessen Horowitz, often shortened to a16z, is one of the most influential venture capital firms in tech. It invests early money in startups in exchange for a stake, and it has poured a lot of that money into AI companies.
When a young AI company raises a big round, a16z is frequently on the list. That makes the firm a useful signal of where investor attention, and a lot of capital, is flowing next.
