Etsy is an online marketplace where independent sellers offer handmade goods, vintage items, craft supplies and digital downloads like printable patterns. Its appeal is that a real person made, or at least chose, what you are buying.
That is why AI is a sensitive topic there. Machine-generated listings can look handmade without being so, so Etsy has been writing rules about disclosure, real product photos and what counts as human-made work.
