Gravity
An advertising startup building an ad network for AI chatbots, including ads aimed at AI shopping agents rather than people.
Gravity sells advertising inside AI assistants. It runs the full chain: a platform where brands buy placements, a platform where developers of AI apps sell space in their products, and an exchange connecting the two. It raised a 30.5 million dollar Series A in August 2026 co-led by Lightspeed and Committed Capital, and counts Best Buy, Target, Vercel and MongoDB among its advertisers.
Its more unusual product is agent-to-agent advertising, where the audience is software. Advertisers supply a product catalogue, and when an AI shopping agent looks for a category it receives a structured list of paying brands. No human ever sees an ad, which makes the question of how sponsored recommendations get labelled genuinely unresolved.
