MLX
Apple's framework for running AI models efficiently on its own chips.
MLX is software from Apple that lets AI models run well on Apple’s own processors, the chips inside modern Macs. It is built to take advantage of how those chips share memory between the main processor and the graphics part.
It matters for local AI on Apple hardware: with MLX, capable models can run directly on a Mac, keeping data on the device and avoiding any cloud bill.
