Adobe
The software company behind Photoshop and other creative tools, now building AI into all of them.
Adobe makes the software most professional creative work runs on, including Photoshop, Illustrator and Premiere. Its business now depends heavily on adding AI image and video generation to those tools, both its own models and, increasingly, partnerships with outside AI labs.
That makes Adobe a useful bellwether for how AI reaches ordinary creative workflows. When a new image model shows up inside Photoshop, millions of people can use it without ever visiting an AI website, which is a very different path to reach than a standalone app.
