World Resources Institute
A global non-profit research organisation working on forests, climate, energy and water.
The World Resources Institute, often shortened to WRI, is a non-profit think tank that publishes data and research on the environment. It runs Global Forest Watch, a widely used tool for tracking forest loss.
It teamed up with Google DeepMind on the ForTy map, bringing the forestry expertise and reference data that an AI team on its own would not have.
